I have never had a glass tea pot nor bought flowering teas before this set; now I can't see why I waited so long. The truly wonderful part about this teapot is that it is microwave safe, so I can heat up my water at work in it and just drop a flowering tea bud in. The glass is perfectly clear. Filled not quite to the top, the teapot held a hefty five cups worth, despite looking just a bit too small to possibly hold that much. It will make the cutest addition to my desk.
I love this pot so much I am succumbing to what every other reviewer is doing, and buying it for gifts.

Initially intrigued by the concept of flowering tea, I purchased Primula's flowering tea set and glass pot. Wow, was I in for a treat. The tea's incredibly delicious and the entire concept is so very pretty. I feel decadent and posh just brewing and drinking it.
It's a fantastic antidote to the stresses of a long, workday, and a great conversation piece at the end of a dinner party. As the weather gets warmer, I'm looking forward to icing the tea and enjoying it as a mid-day refresher (as one reviewer recommended).
I just bought my mom and grandma sets of their own for Mother's Day. Bonus: the set is so luxe-looking that they're going to think that I spent way more than I did.

A tea aficionado, I received the Primula flowering tea set as a gift last summer and was hooked immediately. I loved brewing the tea and then putting it on ice on hot days. After just coming off of a never-ending winter in Chicago, I continued to brew the delectable green tea throughout the snowy season (w/o ice, of course!) to infuse my body with antioxidants. Not only is the tea absolutely delicious, but the tea pot and flower look gorgeous on a table, serving tray or in the kitchen. I received the Primula Flowering Tea Set with 40-Ounce Pot, Glass Lid and diffuser as a Christmas gift. I enjoyed the "flowering" tea (mild, but very pleasant), but noticed a crack in the diffuser which spread the first time I used it, causing a piece of the diffuser to break out. I contacted Primula, and they resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction so I can continue to enjoy their flowering teas as well as my own loose tea.
Thanks Primula! It's refreshing to work with a company that's responsive to it's customers.

I got this teapot as a gift from my sister in law and niece. The flowering tea is fun to watch, the tea tastes awesome, and the teapot works great.
Very happy with all parts of this product. Highly recommended. Makes an excellent gift that is very useful.
