This is a useful piece of kitchen/yard equipment. It makes good soil for your garden and it saves putting food scraps in the garbage. I recommend getting two so that you can rotate them. With two composters operating you always have one to put scraps in while the other, which has gotten full, finishes turning into rich, useable loam. The subcontractor that Amazon uses to supply these composters was slow to ship. However, the company was quick to respond to an email query and the item did come in time for xmas. Overall, highly recommended.
