I like this lunch bag very much.

The bottom compartment is indeed big enough for two cans of coke (they will fit either side-by-side or laid in horizontally), with enough room to spare for ice. I usually use the bottom part for one can of coke, an ice-pack, and a fairly large sandwich. This tends to be a tight fit, but that's fine by me.

The top pouch is large enough for a bag of chips (the kind you get in multi-packs), an orange, and a few other things. If you put your sandwich up there as well, it may be a tight fit.

It is true that since the space is divided between two sections, there is less room for a single large item-- so if you want to carry a frozen dinner, this certainly is not the bag for you. However, if you'd like a lunch bag that has a zippered compartment, but is also small easily transportable, I highly recommend this one.
