This is one of the greatest wine gadets I have ever owned. The ease of operation is conveniently quick and easy. Push the button one way and it inserts and extracts the corks. Push the button the other way and it removes the cork from the unit. The unit is attractive and comes with it's own charging unit which sits on the countertop. I enjoy it so much I bought two more. One for backup and the other I gave as a gift to a friend. Also, the price is very, very inexpensive for what you get. Enjoy it.Customer Review: Emerson Electric Wine Bottle Opener Faulty

This product worked for about 6 months, then quit. Extractor now barely nicks the cork's surface then stops. I now use my tried and true corkscrew. This $20 gadget is a typical throwaway, unrepairable and not worth postage to return to Emerson.
