I have found this scale extremely useful. I use it constantly. I am following a eating plan that requires some food to be weighed and other food to be measured. I will measure the food as required, then weigh it, mark down the ounces, and then just weigh the food item for future portions. (It is so much easier to weigh 3.7oz of strawberries, then to measure 1/2 cup of strawberries) The scale is flat and wide enough to hold any container, yet it does not take up much kitchen space. Having all the nutrients calculated for the food portion makes it very easy to make healthy decisions as to what to eat. It also give you an instant "reality check" as to what you are really putting in your body. I believe this scale is definitely worth the price.Customer Review: Best i found!

After researching many various digital nutrition scales, i finally decided to go with the EatSmart scale. I am so pleased with it, find it easy to use once you learn the ins and outs of the code book, and love the sleek look. I have learned to place some wax paper over the glass top to avoid getting it so dirty, but once i figured that out, clean up was a breeze.Customer Review: Best scale I've tried so far!

I am a bit of a food scale snob.(I own 7, but don't tell my husband)
I am a pediatric dietitian, practicing in the field for 30 years.
This is the only scale that has common foods programmed in and allows you to take any product that you have with a food label and input the data.
I find that most folks will look at a food label, identify the carbohydrate content of the reference portion size, but then fail to measure or weight the portion size. As a result, the carbohydrate count is off.
When I demonstrate this product to the kids I work with, they want to keep "playing". I love it when playing translates to learning to visually estimate portions. This company has been wonderful and thoughtfully listens to all my "wish" lists.
I use this scale both professionally and personally.

While doing a search all over the net the EatSmart Digital Nutrition Scale always came out. After reading all the good reviews that this little machine was getting and its affordable price I decide to order one.
All I can say is I should had order this long time ago!! since without a dout this should be in every home in america for those who are trying to lose and control weight. The information that EatSmart Scale gives you is super informative compare to you "regular" scale which now clearly doesn't show any helpfull information at all.
I have talked to a lot of my friends about it and a lot of them didn't even know that you can get a scale like that and they were even shocked at what I paid for it.
The only thing that I was worried was the top glass part, since I have a 3 year old that loves to cook, other than that this product is a MUST HAVE!!!
