Firstly, the company is top notch. All questions answered in a timely fashion. Easily reach a live person who is responsive to questions. The scale is easy to use. Find your food item in the booklet, enter the code and voila...Carbs listed and accurate too. Sure, you have to look up the food item in the booklet but this is a small inconvenience at the end of the day.I haven't found another type of scale that comes close. I also have a couple of their bathroom scales. Nice quality and attractive. Eatsmart products will always have a place in my home. As a dedicated follower of the Leanness Lifestyle, I use a nutrition scale on a daily basis. I love this scale! I've had it for a year, and it was instrumental in my 95-pound weight loss.
I like that I can measure in ounces or grams... I like that I can get a caloric read-out of the item being weighed... it's easy to use and it looks good, too. There is a bit of a learning curve at first... mainly because you have to look up food codes. But once you use it for awhile, you remember the codes that you use frequently and it becomes second nature.
I highly recommend this scale for anyone who is serious about their nutritional intake.

I did a lot of research on nutritional scales and almost bought a different brand until I read all the reviews on the EatSmart Scale. It is worth the extra money and is versatile and has helped me stay on track. I loved it so much I bought one for a friend after using this.
If you want to realize what and how much you are eating and what is in the foods and snacks you consume this is an excellent scale. I recommend this scale to anyone that is concerned about their health and living a healthy lifestyle

This is by far the best nutritional scale I've ever owned. I did a lot of research before choosing this scale and I'm very pleased with my selection so far. It's very sensitive and can easily be switched from grams to ounces. I have yet to find a food that isn't programed into the scale. I especially love the tare feature that allows you to add multiple foods and then get a complete analysis once you've adding everything to your plate. If you need to do more than just weigh and count calories, this is the perfect scale for you!
