Customer Review: Amazing Scale for Type 1 Diabetes

As a mother of a Type 1 Diabetic Child measuring foods and count carbs is an everyday way of life. This scale has made our lives a thousand times easier. It's a must have for anyone with Diabetes. Before this we tried out 2 other kitchen scales. While they were great at measuring food we still needed to go the extra step and calculate all the carbs ourselves using a calculator. This scale does all that for you! 80-90% of the food we measure is in the food database stored in the scales memory. So all we do is use the included book, key in the 3 digit food code and all the calculating is done for you. For the occasional times the food is not in the database we change the mode to caluculate, input the nutritional info from the food packaging and it does the calculations for you. It is extremly accurate, In the beginning we tested the accuracy by still using our old scale and caluculator method. This scales carb reading were on par with what we caluculated manually. A huge time saver!!! People are right about the customer service, when I called with a question the owner answered the phone. 2. It is just not a scale; it has capability to calculate calories given nutritional info
3. Glass plate which is easy to clean
Cons:
1. Too many buttons on the screen. Users have to read through the manual to understand the functionality. It should have been intuitive.
2. Takes time to get used to it.
3. Max weight it can handle = 3kg which means you cannot weight heavier things.

I love my Eat Smart Nutrition scale !! It is an awesome, reliable scale. And works it works fabulously, consistently weighing items accurately. The list of foods that are preprogrammed is extremely large - i rarely have an item to weigh that is not preprogrammed. Also, the scale provides a comprehensive range of nutrition elements including not only calories, but proteins, carbs, sodium, etc. All in all, i give this product thumbs up with 5 stars!!! after purchasing the cibo nutritional scale and returning it, then the salter and returning it, i finally found a scale that is perfect. it is easy to operate, small, and contains all of the foods i eat. i train pretty hard in the gym and having this scale has allowed me to pinpoint my exact number of calories, carbs, and proteins, which has literally reshaped my body in the small amount of time i have owned it!Customer Review: Amazing product!

This scale is by far the best scale i have ever used for food. it is accurate, designer and has tons of features! looking at the list given in the package, you can type in the # of the item your weighing and it will calculate everything about that food. its amazing. it calculates nutrients from protein to fiber to calories to vitamins. its great! highly recommended!
