Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker

Customer Review: Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker
Summary: 5 Stars

I had fun making cheese from yogurt with this set. It really does work, a little bit pricey tho', but it is sturdy set. The plastic is thick and weighty, not flimsy at all.

This is the very best cheese maker. Easy to use and the results are wonderful! I no longer buy cream cheese as I use this cheese for everything and I know that it is more healthful than the commercial type, with no additional preservatives or other ingredients.

Customer Review: Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker
Summary: 5 Stars

The Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker does exactly what it's designed to do. I have used this product to make good yogurt/cheese for the past two years, and it is simple to use and easy to clean with no parts to break down. I purchased this second one on Amazon as a gift for a good friend. She loves it.

Customer Review: Dandy for small quantities
Summary: 4 Stars

This device works to sieve out whey from yogurt, making a spread that's great for recipes as well. I've used it to make a soft cheese from homemade buttermilk (using the yogourmet freeze dried starter): this results in something like creme fraiche. While you can't make huge quantities at once (the container will hold only so much whey), you can simply spoon in some yogurt or buttermilk and let the cheese maker sit in the fridge a few days or until you are ready to use the spread. Other reviewers have called it hard to clean, but I find no problem.
