Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Debbie Meyer Green BagsCustomer Review: Do they work? Summary: 2 Stars
I tried it once for spinach and I would have been better off if I left it in the Trader Joe bag that it came in. I'll try it again, but I'm gun shy. Maybe it works better on kale. Maybe Trader Joe's produce is perfect the way it is. I don't know at this point in time.
Customer Review: Does not work Summary: 1 Stars
I found in testing all types of produce that these bags do not work. A leading consumer magazine also just tested them and found that the zip top bags work better than these and that these are worthless.

Lettuce goes bad faster than if not in the bag. Did nothing for our bananas. They still turned brown very quickly - maybe saved 1 day. Waste of money!
Customer Review: Does't work - don't waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
After reading positive reviews and watching positive news stories about this product, I bought some. They don't work. On a Saturday I placed a green banana inside a Greenbag. By the following Wednesday it was yellow and covered in brown spots - only slightly fresher than a banana I placed in an ordinary baggie.
Customer Review: Doesn't work that good. Summary: 3 Stars
I bought these bags for the first time a month ago and wrapped every fruit and veg I had! I have to say after a month of using these bags that I don't really see much difference in how fresh my produce is. It may increase their freshness by 1-2 days longer but not more than that like advertised. My produce still grows old in these bags even though I am careful to keep the inside of the bags dry and closed well. Would not buy again....or recommend.
