I had to buy a second one after trying this. Allows cookies to be pulled out while they are still soft for perfectly browned and still chewy just they way we like them. I let the cookies sit for a couple of minutes after they come out and they will never stick. This is my trick to avoid hard cookies, and getting them too browned.Customer Review: Awesome!!!

I have been using my Silpat mats for about a month now, they are the best thing ever. I used to use parchment paper which was cumbersome to use, the Silpat mats are as easy as 1-2-3 to use...they clean up very well and have not burned any of my cookies. It is true that you have to decrease your cooking time but if you bake enough that's not really that big a deal. I would recommend these to anyone!! I got this as a wedding gift- and now I keep giving them to everyone I know- they are awesome. We use ours for everything- cookies, french fries... even my husband goes into the drawer and gets it out. I tried one of those off-brand kinds (just silicone, not with with the glass fibers inside) and it sucked. Get a couple of these- they used to be $20 each and now they are nearly half the price!Customer Review: Bake like a professional!

Silpat is a must for any baker. I am an avid cookie baker and I finallly invested in Silpat. No more cheap, non-stick cookie sheets for me. It's best to use your Silpat with large, commercial quality, traditional cookie sheets (as in, no non-stick coating). My cookies brown beautifully and they never, ever stick. No extra grease or oil needed! This has to be one of the best kitchen gadgets out there. My cookies bake evenly and cleanup is a snap. Invest in two sheets so you never need to wait for one to cool while baking on the other.Customer Review: Baking Delight

My kitchen is very tiny and loaded with gadgets, utensils and cookware. Periodically, I give away what I don't use and once in awhile, I even replace something I've eliminated. I have four cookie sheets and 4 Silpats -- just enough to make double batches of cookies and keep the rotation moving. Cookies cool for a couple of minutes, then slide right off the sheets. These are ideal for fat-free cookies like the chocolate meringues I just put away, and the best for fortune cookies which require fast removal. My cookie sheets look brand new because nothing other than the Silpat ever touches them. To my sisters who were going to receive these as gifts last year, I must add my regrets because I kept this quartet for myself.
