I bought this model in black last summer. I was pretty excited when I brought it home as it's a pretty sleek looking freezer. When I plugged it in, however, the indicator light came on but the freezer did not run. So, I went back to the Home Depot store and exchanged the freezer for a white one. That one worked for 8 months and then totally quit. The news gets better - even though I registered the product with Danby, I misplaced my sales receipt. So, Danby will not honour the two year warranty.
