Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Malaseb Pledgets 60ctCustomer Review: A wonderful product! Summary: 5 Stars
Every summer our English Bulldog gets a sore spot between the first couple toes on his left foot. This product is the only one that takes care of the soreness as soon as it begins to show. We have tried various ointments & salves, but this pad, recommended by our fantastic vet, does wonders!
Customer Review: BEST STUFF FOR BULLDOGS FOLDS!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This stuff works!! If you have dogs with a lot of wrinkles, this stuff works. I have a bulldog and his wrinkles smell really bad. I did some research and found out that they are caused by yeast. Malaseb pledgetes worked the same day I used it! It took the odor away and the irritation. I'm sure my dog is happy with less irritation. I love this stuff!
Customer Review: Can't live without it! Summary: 5 Stars
I have 3 dogs, a Bulldog, Pitbull, and MinPin. I use the wipes to clean my bulldogs skin folds, this is the only product that doesn't seem to bother her and actually Works! I also use it on my other two to clear away tear stains, clean the out ear area and it is great for very Minor cuts and scrapes too. Anytime you would put neosporin on a child, you can do the same with pledgets on your dogs.
Customer Review: Didn't work for us Summary: 1 Stars
We were prescribed these for a yeast infection in the paws of our dog. We were using them 2-3 times per day without any big improvements. We eventually had to have him put on oral medications to treat the infection. Maybe they would have worked on an infection in the early stages. I wouldn't use them again.
Customer Review: Do you have a Golden Retriever that licks his/her feet? Summary: 5 Stars
Our Golden "Arrow" has licked her feet all nine years of her life. Two months after we brought her home as a seven week old puppy we were calling the breeder askng why Arrow licked her feet and what to do about it.
Licking sounds benign. Many times that became chewing and bloody paws. Stressing me greatly and Arrow who limped painfully until they healed.
Many vets, many steriod shots, web searches for special food. Finally settled on single protein/single starch diet right after trying to cook (no heat all fresh) her meals myself.
Used Malaseb shampoo with careful paw washing, ten minute lather on, and thorough rinsing. Worked fairly well but quite difficult to perform often. Read the reviews on these pledgets and ordered two jars.
Two weeks use now. NO MORE LICKING. Arrow still plays at the local park, swims in the ponds, and runs through the mud and whatever but the licking has stopped. Cautiously I have even started trying other dog foods successfully.
Maybe this paw licking has been a kind of yeast infection like her ears which I solved years ago with CholorhexiDerm rinses about twice a week. With the Malaseb pledgets I wipe thoroughly between her nails and through the two spaces in her paws. If her feet are dirty I rinse with water first. Takes one pledgets per paw even with the fir trimmed short.
For all the Golden owners with the same problem I have met through the years I urge you to try these medicated pads. Sixty pads means fifteen applications. Twice a week for us so one jar is about two months.
Hope it works as well for your dogs.
