I bought these towels to round up an order to $25.00 and receive free shipping on another item. I was disappointed with them at first because they didn't seem very absorbent, as if made of some polyester/cotton blend. After several launderings, however, that problem disappeared. Being made of a looped pile fabric, they have a greater tendency to snag than do cut pile towels. All in all, they are attractive and quite satisfactory, though rather pricey IMO.
