I have purchased two Dazers, and recommend them highly. I walk 3 miles early each morning in a neighborhood full of barking dogs, and although they are doing their job, it gets pretty loud near the fences. The Dazer works best at a close range, but the range goes much further for some dogs. Also, a few dogs are not affected, but most are. Overall very good product.Customer Review: Dazer Dazzles!

Love this product. Have had trouble with the neighbors' dogs barking whenever we are trying to enjoy our pool Now, the Dog Dazer II takes care of the barking. We press the button for a second at a time and the dogs STOP barking and move to the other side of their yard. YEAH! No hard feelings with the neighbors because they don't know about it. It works really well inside an enclosed area, like the house, but outside the home the intensity is lost and dogs generally ignore it unless you put the Dazer II directly in its face... and if it's not on a leash, the dog can easily back up to avoid the experience altogether. When out for a walk with my dog on a lead, it works more like a clicker than a deterrent. A few times, a strange dog has come up to us and either the dog was deaf or the Dazer II did not daze the strange dog. My dog, however, responded with his ears up. Like I said, in the house it will stop unwanted behavior.

The leash just doesnt work well on my dog. I like this alot, no leash required and so easy. It does work great. I have 2 dogs, from RGolden to Shepard and it works on all of them. It is just so easy that I recommend it to everybody. I had an old one that I had to put the leash and had to constantly change the battery even if I didn't use it.
