GREAT product! I have neigbors that own a pitbull and they let it bark non-stop all day and don't tell it to stop. I ordered the Dazer after reading several good reviews. I received the product within three days, which I was inmpressed with. After using the Dazer for only two days the dog has barked a lot less. I just aim the device over my fence and the dog stops barking right away. When the dog does bark he will catch himself and run to the other side of his house too bark, where I can't hear him as much. I am now able to go out into my backyard without having to hear this dog bark constantly. If you have rude neighbors that don't care if their dogs bark and annoy you then buy this product. It is so much more peaceful here. Now if there was only such a product for loud people.Customer Review: Be patient...it works!

Our neighbor's dog barks at us every time we walk down the sidewalk in our side yard to throw away trash, take out the trash, go out the gate to the front yard...BARK, BARK, BARK!!! She would even bark occasionally if she heard us in our house with the windows open!!
In desperation I researched barking deterrents on the internet and found the Dog Dazer II and hoped it would be our way stop the barking once and for all without resorting to a confrontation with the neighbor, or worse.
At first, I thought I had wasted the money on the purchase. She just kept barking. Once even so viciously I thought she was going to come through the fence! I just kept trying each and every time I went down the sidewalk. Pulsing the Dazer for one second..off for about three seconds.
Well, after about a week of still thinking I had wasted my money, suddenly the bark turned to a growl. I would do extra training by moving the trashcans around (a noise that she was always freak out at) and just when she'd start to bark, I'd press the button and the bark would turn to a growl.
Once in awhile we still get a growl, but more often there is no sound at all. I AM SO HAPPY!! I don't dread going outside anymore! That dog was getting out of control and now I am in control thanks to the Dog Dazer II.
So the moral of this story is, be patient...and hopefully your patience will pay off with SILENCE!
O.k.. I don't know what happened, but the dog started freaking out again. Not as much when I'm outside, but when my son is outside. I think she can smell me and then knows I make her ears hurt. One day she just freaked while I was out there zapping her, then she started with the low growl again. I think I just have a psycho neighbor dog with a very short memory!

I have a wonderful St. Bernard who is very protective of all things his. This has made him a barker. He will bark at the neighbors, delivery people, mail carrier and anything else that moves past or coming to our house.
This is how good the product is: Our mailman Bob, who has been barked at while Murphy rips the curtains and tears at the door, asked me a month after I got my Dazzer, if Murphy was dead. Bob said he had not heard Murphy is such a long time. I told him NO, I finally found someway to get his attention and calm his anxiety.
I simply caught him as he started to bark, said the word quiet and zapped him with the Dazzer. It only took 3 times of being zapped for him to decide it wasn't as much fun as he thought it was to bark at the door. I praised him when he didn't bark and now the UPS guy, Bob, the neighbors can all walk past and to the house and Murphy doesn't even care. He still is attentive at the door for the bell, which I prefer but the ugly barking has stopped. I don't even have to have the Dazzer in my hand now. I can point a remote control, the wireless mouse for the computer or simply say QUIET and he is.
I took a Dazzer to my daughter when we visited, not for her dogs but for the neighbor yappy dog and just a couple of fertive zaps and the dog quit barking at them when they are outside.
This product is fantastic, marvelous, kicks butt and works. Buy one, or four like I did for my next door neighbor, my dog's groomer for the unruly ones she deals with, my daughter as I stated and my postman Bob, who says he has a much quieter route now.

After a year of putting up with my next door neighbor's barking dogs, I decided to buy this product to see if it would help shut them up. The first time I heard the dogs barking, I aimed the product over the fence directly at the Dachshund that does the most yapping, and he immediately stopped barking, pinned his ears back, and ran for the house! The other dog also stopped barking and just sat there growling, like he couldn't figure out what it was that was bothering his ears.
This product also works great for keeping cats out of areas that you don't want them in, like on the cabinets. I have three cats. One is almost deaf and does not respond to it, but the other two immediately abort the behavior I want to correct.
The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating was the fact that distance can be an issue. I find the dogs react much better at closer range than they do when on the other side of the yard, but all in all, this is a worthwhile product that has made my life much quieter!

This product worked for me. I was skeptical, but willing to try anything to quiet the neighbor's dog. The instructions say it takes two to three weeks to train a dog not to bark, and that is probably true. But it started working for me the very first day I used it. After only one day, my neighbor's dog (a medium sized lab) is now actually afraid to bark. He hasn't barked in weeks. We now get unbroken sleep!!! In all fairness, I first approached my neighbor and asked her to keep her dog quiet at night. Since she wouldn't handle the situation, she is now paying for the care and feeding of a useless pooping machine, and I couldn't be happier!!!
