Customer Review: Amazing... it worked straight out of the box

I purchased 2 products a cheap on and the other is a bit more costly. I dd that to train my dog (and others from the neighborhood... LOL). 2 different of these training aids helps in that the pet does not get use to the constant ultra sound (when misbehaving). The thought goes like this... if we humans can learn to ignore certain sounds... so can the dogs! And when i used only this 1 training aid, my dog DID learn to ignore it (wish i had also opted for the shock collar).
This is the best of the 2 products i purchased. it works immediately. The other 1 I purchased has a different tone, so it also helps. I used this product the first time, straight out of the box (batteries included) to stop the yapping of our mixed terrier dog. Guess what, it worked! No More Noise!! Our dog hates this product so much, all I have to do is lift it usually without operating it and give the "key word" that tells her (dog) that I no longer like the disruption she is causing. My "key word" is Quiet!
Prior to owning this product, I though I would go nuts from the constant barking and disobedience. I honestly recommend if you have similar feelings of discomfort from noisy barking dogs, I think you should get 2 of these products. 1 for use at home and 1 for in the car (never leave home without it!)

Just got it. Opened the package, nothing to do but use it (battery included)! And got the perfect opportunity with the neighbor's little toy dog directly across the street. This little dog has a habit of yapping at me for no reason and literally walks across the street to stand in MY driveway to continue barking at me! Totally ridiculous and the owner does nothing about it. It even crosses the street to poop in my yard sometimes!! Well all I had to do was stand in my yard and press the button. The dog tilted it's head to the side as if I had a string and pulled it in that direction. So I said, "interesting". Tried it again, same thing, and again, same thing. By the forth time, it turned around tail between its legs, and walked back into its owners garage! Yay for me!!! And I was at least 30 feet away!!! Even tried it on my cat who tries to dash outside when I'm coming in, he went to other way instead.Customer Review: Another Tool in My Arsenal

I got the Dazer after my two dogs & I were attacked during our daily walk by two dogs that had escaped their compound. (One German shepherd, one pit bull) Only neighbors and my dogs' prong collars saved them from being killed. Now I always carry muzzle mace and the Dazer. I've found so far just two dogs who seem oblivious to it (both white, small sized dogs). One lab retriever only had to be zapped twice and he won't even run toward his fence toward us when we walk by. The pit bull who nearly killed my dogs didn't respond at all at first to the Dazer. However, with repeated use, he now backs off from his fence. It may take repeated use on some dogs for some reason and trying a closer range.
If I were being charged by a strange dog, I'd probably go for the mace first. If a stray dog was approaching normally but I'd still prefer to deter him, I'd try the Dazer. I pack both daily.

We moved into our new house and found out our neighbors dog would bark at us all the time. My neighbor was apologetic at first but did not do much about it. I ordered the Dazzer after reading all the reviews. Once I got it, my neighbors dog barked, I used it, and like magic he just shut up. I think it was a big surprise for him. He barked again and I used it. This time he stopped barking and ran to the other side of their house. This stuff is awesome. I can't believe it works.Customer Review: BEST EVER!!

We have 2 wonderful dogs yet despite trying to train them they still went at the door like Kujo when the doorbell rang. They would also bark at the squirrels and the birds. We have had the police at our door numerous times. In desperation I bought the Dazer II. In less then 30 minutes they quit barking. The real test was when we had someone come over they had never met. They shut up but continued to try to bark for the first few minutes then they both lay down and never barked after that. I was able to quiet the neighbors dog as well. We have our lives back. If anyone says it doesn't work I strongly suggest they put a new battery in then try it. Just press the button and say quiet!
