The term 'highball' made me think that these would be drink glasses (relatively small); however, these glasses are quite larger than I expected. This was by no means a bad thing, though, and I have no regrets in the purchase.Customer Review: great heavy thick walled germay glass

I am so very pleased with these glasses, I had ordered the rumba dessert and serving plates and decided to order these after seeing the quality and the fact they are made in Germany! The walls of the glasses are thicker than I had expected making them great for the dishwasher, the glass is beautifully formed with no flaws. I ordered 16 glasses and the quality is consistent. if you are new to my reviews I decided to replace all the kitchen and table ware in our home that was made in china or failed the lead test kits we performed on all the objects in our home. these are a wonderful find and well worth the price.
