We have been using this filter for the last one month. The water tasted bad from day 1. Initially we thought the water here at Camden NJ was that bad that it just cannot be filtered right. Today we brought a pur pitcher filter and i can say it is amazing. I realized its not the water which is crappy but it is this filter which we were using. I had to deal with the bad taste and also got a sore throat.
And i am sure even the manufacturers know that their filters dont work that is why they dont have a feasible return policy either. You can only return product which is unused and that too within 30days. If you have used it , you cannot return the filter. Yes..you cannot return. That simply means you are stuck with this junk .
Please dont waste your money on it, try pur or brita and i am sure it will do the job.
I am very disappointed with the company and its product.

Faucet Mount Filter options: * Space-saving design for easy access to your sink at all times * Quick and easy to install and use * Attractive, convenient, and effectively removes hundreds of contaminants from water Faucet Water Filter cartridge is a 5-stage water filter that is designed to remove hundreds of contaminants from water: * In Stages 1 and 5, water passes through pre and post one-micron filter pads, which remove suspended particles such as silt, sediment, cyst, sand, rust, dirt, and other undissolved matter * In Stage 2 water passes through Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC), which reduces bad tastes and odors, pesticides and chemicals that are linked to cancer risks * Stage 3 is Ion Exchange Resin, which reduces heavy metals such as lead, copper, aluminum, and water hardness (pH) * In Stage 4 water passes through a combination of KDF 55 and KDF 85 to reduce iron, mercury, copper, nickel, chromium, cadmium, aluminum, lead, other dissolved metals and hydrogen sulfide, and prevents growth of bacteria, algae, fungi, scale, and other microorganisms.
