I purchased this item as a gift for my daughter. How embarassing! In about 6 months time it was unusable. First the hooks broke off. Then the wooden pole broke at the base because of insufficient support. Expecting a single screw to hold up the whole thing was unrealistic. It was just a matter of time before it suffered a break.
