Customer Review: Cheaply made...and they don't stand behind their products.

I do NOT recommend that you buy this product. I have used mine maybe 6 times annually for the past two years and I just now discovered that the handles on the side of the pot are crumbling. They are literally cracking and falling off in shards. I went to their website ([...]) and it clearly states in their FAQ's that the handles are not replaceable. There is no other recourse I can see except to buy a new crockpot - and, of course, I would not consider anything made by this company. I also concur with charges that this particular model overcooks food.
UPDATE: The manufactuer replaced the product free of charge. Unfortunately, it still overcooks food and I fear that the handle on the replacement will also crumble.
SECOND UPDATE: The handles on the replacement product are indeed crumbling. I am handwashing it (as opposed to putting it in the dishwasher) just to see if I can extend its usefulness but I do not hold out a lot of hope because the crumbling appears to be the result of the heat generated from using the appliance. I hope the manufacturer reconsiders whatever materials they are currently using because it sure is a poor reflection on the company.

I like the looks and the size of this pot . It did cook a good roast. But..... luckily I was home, because if I wasnt this could be a fire hazard. It boils on LOW, it boils on WARM! Warm means warm .. not BOIL. I took it back!Customer Review: Cooks too hot!

We've had this slow cooker for 3+ years and use it often - few times each week, year round. I have not one complaint. In fact, I'm shocked by the comments here since we are truly in love with ours. The quality seems very durable, it's easy to clean as long as we don't forget it and leave it out overnight (learned that the hard way but still got it clean!), and large enough for our family of four to have leftovers. I couldn't survive a busy school week without it.
