When this thing works, it can open a bottle in a flash - under three seconds easily. The foil cutters are a real boon too, giving a tidy finish.Unfortunately it will not always work. Very tight-fitting corks, especially synthetics, will sometimes fail to be shifted by the pressure, and a regular corkscrew is needed. More irritating is a problem with long corks, where it is hard to get the nozzle right through the cork. If they had added 2-3mm length to the needle, this problem would not exist, which is very frustrating.
In summary, worth the money, but make sure you have a backup just in case.
