This works perfectly at a good price. I am unable to process anything other than quart jars in the rack provided. Technically I could try to use pint and half pint jars, but they do not rest properly and end up falling over or even through the rack when it is in the lifted (hanging by handles to rim of pot) position.Customer Review: Great Product, fast shipping

I'm new at home canning, and wasn't sure what to buy. This canner is just what I needed. It's huge, and works great. The fact that it came with the canning rack was a real bonus. With the rack, you just lift it up and hang the handles over the edge of the pot, load you jars in, and then lower them all in the boiling water at the same time. No getting burned from the steam. And, when it's time to remove the jars, you just lift the rack back up, hang it over the edge again, and take the jars out (be sure to use potholders, of course, when lifting the rack in and out of the pot). I am really impressed with the quality, too. The price was a real bonus with this one as well. Excellent value!
