Customer Review: Canning Pot
Summary: 5 Stars

Love the pot. I used to use my own large pot for canning and it was always a struggle putting jars in and out of the boiling water. So, when this canning pot arrived, what a difference it made in canning! The pot is very wide, so it fits so many more jars that my own pot did, and putting jars in and taking them out of the boiling water is a snap with the wire rack that came with the pot. Highly recommend it for the price I paid for it.

Customer Review: Canning for fun
Summary: 5 Stars

When all the stores were out of canners, Amazon saved the day.
This was exactly what I was looking for.

Customer Review: Canning supplies
Summary: 5 Stars

Had to order on line could not find any stores that carried this item ~ went to 8 stores! Got on line and got it within days.

Customer Review: Cold Pack Canner
Summary: 5 Stars

This canner was purchased along with a pressure cooker and will be used to do cold pack type canning. We have used one of these type canners over the years with great success and expect this one to do the same. Haven't used it yet, but have used others just like it and it does a fine job.

Customer Review: Concave Bottom
Summary: 2 Stars

Mine dented when weight was applied. Contacted customer service (not Amazon) and they've never responded.

You need to know that the bottom of this water-bath-canner is very concave which is only recommended for gas stoves. The National Center for Home Food Preservation recommends only flat bottomed canners for use on electric or flat-top stoves. I will not be able to use this canner now because of this.

At first use, the shiny coat came off of the bottle rack. It left a terrible dust coat over all of my bottles.
