My fiance bought this on a whim for our hallway and I loved it. Over time the strands spread wider and wider. Ours was recently destroyed by some rambunctious puppies and I am thrilled to find a replacement here on amazon! I'm going to buy another immediately. We also had a friend whose baby loves it and will be thrilled to know how to get one of her own.
For those people who complained about the strands not fanning out, it is amazing what time and gravity will do so give it a chance. It will fan out beautifully and when you walk by it the strands will stir with the breeze you create--a lovely and enchanting effect even in the most groggy midnight moments.
