This lathers better than anything I've used. You can squirt a line down the dog's back and have enough lather to do down to the legs and stomach, which is nice.
I washed my dog twice in one bath with this to ensure no doggie odor residue, and she smells great! No wet dog smell and the scent is not overpowering. I don't smell the minty smell - the lavendar smell is what remains and its not too perfumey.
I'll have to wait and see how long the good scent lasts but upon initial use, I'm extremely satisfied.

After the first wash my dog was a bit itchier than normal. I dismissed it thinking it was other environmental issues. I washed him again in the morning and he was itching, scratching, chewing, rubbing his face and was in complete discomfort all day. So, while this shampoo works for a lot of dogs, my lab must have sensitive skin. I just washed him again this evening with a different shampoo and he is relaxing, finally.
