Summary: 3 Stars
Cheap and easy. Once calibrated to 32F, it is low about 10F when testing boiling water which should be 212F but comes in at 202F. As long as you know this, you can do the math and figure it out so you don't under cook poultry or over cook beef. And if you think about it, if you pull beef off when this thing says its done, by the time you plate and serve, it will not be overdone. Still, its not 100% accurate but useful.
