I purchased five sets of this flatware but am returning it after putting it in the dishwasher for the first time. It got white spots all over the bamboo handles and the bamboo lost much of its gloss. I already had similar bamboo flatware made by another company, Murval, which was also very inexpensive but has never had a problem from machine washing. I love my original bamboo flatware and was looking for additional place settings to supplement it. The Cambridge Silversmiths flatware looked nearly identical to mine when it arrived.....but this stuff is terrible. It's going back.
