I use this product weekly to clean my smooth top stove. It works really well. You do have to purchase the pads to use with it more frequently than the cleaner, at least I do. It does the job.

CERAMA BRYTE Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner easily cleans tough stains from your cooktop and leaves a shiny polished surface. CERAMA BRYTE Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner is made for cleaning all brands of radiant and halogen smoothtop stoves. It removes tough stains without scratching. It works great on shower doors too. Safe for use on all radiant and halogen cooktops. CERAMA BRYTE is recommended for GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, Hotpoint, Jenn-Air, Frigidaire, Kenmore, and Viking stoves, and it cleans and polishes porcelain sinks, glass shower doors, cultured marble sinks, and glass cookware. The CERAMA BRYTE scraper removes cooked-on residue from your radiant and halogen cooktops. The scraper contains a standard replaceable straight razor blade, and has a nice handle so that you can scrape without risk of cutting yourself - it even has a retractable cover to protect the blade and your fingers.
