Customer Review: A pizzelle maker you can count on - it just works!

After all, what is there in pizzelle making? A hot iron, put the dough in, close the lid, wait till the steam is almost gone (don't confuse it with smoke), done. I'm a first time pizzelle maker and I don't need a light to tell me when it's ready or not. The unit does not have anything fancy, which means less points of failure. Just plug it in before you start assembling the dough. By the time you're ready, or 15mins later, it should be hot enough and ready to roll.
I picked this unit because it is not teflon coated. I was afraid that my pizzelle might stick. Absolutely not! When I used it for the first time I forgot to grease the surface until after I put the dough in and closed the lid. When it's done, the cookie just came out. I followed the "Italian waffle or pizzelle" recipe that came with instructions.
There are places that sell this unit without a cone maker and charge you for less.
