I needed an incense stick holder since I'd lost my previous one somehow and was using an old pepper shaker.
I like to burn one stick for each of the deities I'm fond of so when I saw that this held five sticks, and wasn't a great deal of cash, I ordered it immediately.
It's lovely, I like that it's made from recycled materials and the design, derived from Tibetan Buddhist traditions, looks simply ace.
One of the best incense burners I've owned, not the most earth shattering thing to say but still the gods honest truth. :)
Description of Tibetan Incense Burner
A Tibetan styled 4.5" diameter incense burner, with floral spiral patterns covering its silver-tone base. An eye catching piece with slots for up to 5 sticks, the concave edge keeps ashes contained. Made from heavy recycled aluminum, imported from India. Use for stick incense and cones, or for Japanese or coil incense using a ceramic holder on top. Can also be used with charcoal if a suitable heat proof layer is added underneath, but take care as it will get very hot. Tip: If stick incense won't quite stand straight enough, break off the stick at the start of the incense, the little bit of incense will hold it steady.Kitchen and Housewares
