The title of the product, "30-ft standard hose", was misleading. This is not the electrified hose that came standard with my house. The link from the supplier may have had a way to find the alternate hose I needed, but if so, it was very difficult to find.
Description of 30-Foot Standard Hose
This high performance, low voltage hose is designed for use with a central vacuum system. It features a convenient, fingertip on-off switch, vinyl reinforced construction, a hanger bracket, warm grey finish, and rotary control to regulate suction.
