Description of Borner Food Safety Holder
Provides perfect slicing of vegetables and fruits while protecting your fingers. Great kitchen tool for salads, party trays, hard cheeses(best when cold) and hard sausages (best when cold).This handy food holder keeps fingers and knuckles away from sharp blades on slicers and graters. When gentle pressure with a thumb or finger is applied to the top button, prongs on the holder secure any size fruit or vegetable, or piece of hard cheese or meat, and allow the entire length of the food item to be sliced. The food holder works well with other Borner products, such as the V-slicer and onion cutter, and also with any cheese grater or mandolin.
