I love the sturdiness of the pitchers and the fact that they are glass so the taste isn't contaminated, but I HATE THE LIDS! They don't seal and you have to take them off to pour or you have a HUGE MESS. I don't have a problem, but my husband makes a mess EVERY time he uses them. It dribbles down the side. I am glad I got them though, I've been searching for a glass pitcher for a while, and this is the best I think.Customer Review: Nice Jars, Not too heavy

I bought these jars because I wanted something not made of plastic to avoid that plastic taste. These work well for our family as they are not too heavy and, with two, you can have two drinks available while not taking up much space. Like others have said, the top does dribble when you do not carefully pour.
Update 8/22/10: These jars have been used regularly and have not broken or cracked. I'm glad that I made the purchase.

Pros : thick glass & sturdy handle. fits in the fridge door.
Cons : the lids don't fit. not so crazy about the lid colors (why not simple white?). it drips & requires constant wiping after use.

The pitcher itself is fine- no problem with that. I ordered two pitcher (a pair). When I picked up the box it did not sound right and guess what- one of the pitchers could not stand the fedex and break into pieces. Call this funny- the better packed pitcher suffered the early death. Amazon finally did the class act by refunding me 50% off the price I paid.Customer Review: PACKAGING!!!

Nice pitcher, exactly what I was looking for, but with the way it's packaged it would be a miracle is you receive TWO pitchers intact.
I received one pitcher and half a box of very sharp glass shards. Amazon was great on the refund, but I don't think it's possible to order these and receive both intact
