These two glass containers were perfect for what I needed. What was that need you might ask? I wanted ice coffee during the hot summer months. The glass doesn't absorb the coffee stains or scent, easy to clean, and fits very well in the door of my refrigerator. The top lid doesn't fit snugly, but it keeps the coffee from smelling up the leftover food and it keeps the leftover food scents out of the coffee. Again, my need was to keep ice coffee in the refrigerator and I didn't want it to take up a lot of space. These containers did just that.Customer Review: Jugs

The glass is nice and the shape is great for fitting into the refrigerator door. However the lid does not seal the jug, so you can't shake your orange juice to mix it up. Also, if you pour your beverage with the lid in place, it causes the liquid to dribble. This means the contents will always need to be stirred, which is a nuisance and you need to remember to remove the nearly useless lid before you pour. My quest for some really useful glass liquid containers for the refrigerator continues!Customer Review: Lids are just fine

The lids are just fine - they are not meant to hermetically seal the top, only to guide pouring. If you pour gently, at the rate that the opening allows, they do not spill at all. This is an old-fashioned style.
I do wish the lids were dishwasher safe though, and if they were dishwasher-safe silicone they would seal better as people desire.

Very nice, heavy glass, keeps milk cold, but as stated the lid is cheesy plastic that dribbles, and in addition does not seal the contents in any way. All it does is cover most of the mouth. I had hoped for better.
