The jugs are nice and heavy and arrived unbroken, but the comments about small drips and dribbling are vast understatements! Most of the time, more ends up on the counter than in my cup! But I use them for water only (trying to cut down on those nasty plastics) and I just take the lid off before pouring and little or no dribbles...Customer Review: A decent jug for the price!

I purchased this set at a clearance store for only $7.
Each jug holds 3-5 individual beverage servings, depending on the size cup you are using.
The lids do not seal, but I was simply looking for a covered jug so that debris or whatever would not fall in it.
The lids make quite a mess if you pour with one on, so I take the lid off when I pour something and I have had absolutely no problem with this. Other reviews complain about dribbling, etc. with or without the lid on, so I don't know how their pouring technique is different from mine!
Four stars for balancing the price and the quality of the item. It would receive 5 stars if I could pour with the lid on and if it made a tight seal.

After searching for a year or more to find a water jug for my refrigerator...I finally found this item. It seems beyond me with all the controversy about plastic water bottles that some American Company would not have caught on to the fact that good inexpensive water bottles would be in demand. One of the 2 pitchers arrived broken. The company hadn't even put buble wrap or any protive wrapping around it. Nor was the package marked "fragile".
Bummer. I wouln't order another of their products.

If you try to pour from the jugs, with the top lid in place, they drain a sizable amount of the contents down the front of the jugs and onto your counter. I remove the jug lid to pour into a glass without a mess.
I like the size of these jugs for our small family. Also the size and shape fits better in the frige than a large round jug. It's not a big deal to remove the lid to pour.
