The item is very badly made. It comes in two pieces, the front piece and then the bulb section which you have to push together. It was so hard to do this that part of the front cracked off while trying. Whwn plugging it in, it gae a vvery dull glow. It has a sensor at the front upposedly to detect when it gets dark. Well, the one we got only lights up when it is light and turns off when it is dark... not really what you want from a NIGHT light. A waste of money in my opinion
