Perhaps I'm the only who's noticed this, but vegetables that I steam with this product, seem to have a funny taste. I confess, I only rinsed the product before I used it, so maybe washing it would've ensured that there was no taste. I have not yet tried to steam any meat.Customer Review: Good Steamer

I had one of the earlier and smaller versions of this steamer, so when the timer finally quit working after many years of use. I decided to buy the upgrade from Black & Decker. I've used the new one a few times and it work as good as the original, but with a larger capacity if I need it, or if not I can just use the one section alone. This steamer makes rice very well also. Clean up is very easy with this steamer, I am very satisfied with this steamer and would recommend it to everyoneCustomer Review: Great Product

I have used various steamers for several years but this is, without a doubt, one of the best. I LOVE the double-decker design and the fact that it comes with a rice steamer included. There is no way to beat fresh steamed vegetables. Even frozen veggies are great when steamed. Steaming brings back the color and maintains the crispness of fresh and frozen veggies. Even doctors will tell you that steaming is the healthiest way to prepare vegetables. Also, quickly blanching fresh veggies in the steamer makes them great for freezing. I love this item and would recommend it without hesitation. Plus the Black & Decker name tells me it is a quality product.Customer Review: Great Product

I purchased the Black & Decker Flavor-Scenter Steamer Deluxe Food Steamer for myself, and I liked it SOOO much, that I bought this Double Decker Steamer for my sister. We try to eat healthy, and this has helped out a lot. It is easy to use and easy to clean....just throw it in the dishwasher.
