It's great, turn it on the appropriate time listed and you never have to worry about overcooked vegetables. Rice comes out perfect. I had the single deck steamer before and when I had to replace it I purchased the double deck, so I could cook rice and a vegetable at the same time. Love it in the summer when I don't want to turn on the stove.
