Baratza Virtuoso Conical Burr Coffee/Espresso Grinder
This is a quality grinder for many reason already posted. However, if you want the best grind go to the Baratza site and download their fix for adjusting the grinder. If you have few mechanical skills skip this and buy another grinder (if you want a good espresso grind). I usually grind my coffee beans at World Market on the 2nd espresso setting. I placed one teaspoon of this grind on a saucer and on teaspoon of the finest setting on the Virtuoso. The Virtuoso grind was more grainy. Follow the instructions to the letter. When finished I ran the samples again and they were identical. I added about 1/2 past the factory setting. Since I only grind espresso for my Gaggia Baby D, I will not be moving the grind settings back and forth saving any problems with the tabs. Make sure you set the grinder counter-clockwise (full) before replacing the case. Also be careful with the button when lowering the case. I also purchased the doser kit and replaced the coffee bin. It is a great setup and my pulls with my naked portafilter are tiger-striped and smooth!

Description of Baratza G385 Black Maestro Plus Coffee GrinderThe Solis Maestro PLUS is based on the original and very popular Solis Maestro coffee grinder. The Maestro Plus includes all the winning features of the original Maestro grinder, plus some extras that increase its versatility and ease of use. These improvements contribute to more than a doubling of the weight over the Maestro and give the Maestro Plus a rock-solid feel and increased stability. The range of grind is 30% greater than the original Maestro. This increase is on the coarsest settings making it easier to get the perfect grind for drip and French press brewers. The number of grind settings has been increased by over 100% to 40 levels, resulting in a huge range of grinds. The key advantage of the increased settings is precision fine-tuning of your espresso grind settings. The Maestro is designed and assembled in the USA with lots of innovative features built in.
