This is a great product that really works and is surprisingly well made. One thing I will say is that the toast adjustment is a little on the lighter side so if you like your toast really dark, you may have to run it through twice. I inherited a four slice toaster that only worked with two slices, so I opted to upgrade to something fully functional and with a smaller footprint. I chose the Back to Basics Egg-and-Muffin toaster as my replacement.
The Back to Basics Egg-and-Muffin 2 slice toaster is a great little breakfast tool. Within four or five minutes I have a nice egg-McMuffin knockoff without the inconvenience of driving to a fast food joint and without the expense. What I would pay for one breakfast sandwich eating out comes close to the cost of six English muffins and a dozen eggs, add a couple bucks more if you want to add cheese. You're looking at maybe $7.50 for six days worth of breakfast sandwiches.
Cleanup is also a breeze. Rinse the steamer lid, dry a couple extra parts, wipe the excess water out of the steaming tray, and then sponge off the egg pan. In less than five minutes you're ready to make tomorrow morning's breakfast. :)
I haven't tried the meat heating attachment as I don't use pre-cooked breakfast meats.
My only complaints are:
- Regular bread is a bit too tall for the toast slots. So about a quarter inch of bread isn't fully toasted. Kind of an odd design oversight.
- The setting for how browned you like your toast, at least on my unit, is very light in most cases. I have to slide the browning dial over almost all of the way to lightly brown an English muffin.
The toaster has a full year warranty, so if anything breaks down you'll be covered for at least the first year.
Even if this toaster were to break down after the first year, I'd gladly buy another. It's almost the next best thing to sliced bread.

I was tired of paying $4 plus for a breakfast in the morning made with low quality meat and eggs. I purchased this product and I could not be happier with my purchase. For starters, it is incredibly easy to operate. Pour the water into the cup, add your egg, add a piece of meat, place the top on, and then press down. It couldn't be any easier. You can even add your bread and do it all in one step. Once you press start you can just walk away and in only a few minutes everything is done and ready for assembly.
The egg is always cooked perfectly, the meat is always hot, and the bread is heated to just the right amount. I challenge anyone to find a better machine to make an egg sandwich. Cleaning is also easy, just throw everything into the dishwasher.

We got this item as a wedding gift and we have loved it! For one just as a toaster it works great you just push the button for toast and pull the latch down to start it up. If you're like me and you like Sausage Egg Mcmuffins from McDonalds what is better than being able to make your own from home. You put the English muffin in its slot than put water in the bottom of the egg part followed by the egg pan and than you put the rack for the sausage put the plastic cover on push the button for the complete thing pull the lever down and let it do the rest. I love how it knows exactly when to start toasting the English muffin so it is all done at the same time. You can also just cook an egg in this if you don't want toast. All and all a great contraction. I gave it 4 stars though as the area where you put the water rusts over very quickly.Customer Review: Arrived broken but they are sending a replacement!

The bad news is that I just purchased this item, and while the toaster worked great, the egg cooker did not work at all. The good news is that all it took was one simple phone call (no hold time) and a replacement unit is on the way. They even sent me a UPS label to return the old one!
