Combo appliances typically do not perform as well as dedicated machines--I once owned a combo microwave and toaster, and it was terrible. This little machine, however, is a gem. It works exactly as designed. It's simple and easy to operate. It toasts toasts, it steams eggs, it warms ham. You really can take one egg, one english muffin, a slice of ham, and in 2 minutes have a tasty little breakfast sandwich. Just load it up, touch one button, and make yourself a cup of coffee--when the coffee's ready, your sandwich will be too.
Totally great product. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the toaster slot is just a wee bit shallow: the top 1/2 inch of your bread will not toast. On the other hand, it's perfectly sized for english muffins. :)

My boyfriend and I have had this product for at least 6 months now. It worked alright for the first few months, and then the egg cooker just stopped working one day. We've been using the toaster portion of the appliance with no problems.
Just the other morning, I awoke to a horrible screeching sound that was coming from the kitchen. My boyfriend investigated and found that the heating element within the egg cooker had started working and turned itself on again. It was smoking, and probably would have burnt my apartment down had I not heard the horrible noise it was making.
I like egg sandwiches, but I also like my apartment not burning to the ground.

I bought one for $59.99 (Amazon was out of them) and absolutely loved it at first. The English muffin doesn't quite get dark enough so I have to go through 2 cycles, which is a slight pain.
I use Egg Beaters and they come out fine.
My only issue is that the non-stick surface is already peeling away after a month of use. There was a sticky brown residue in the heating tray, mostly likely from the slice of ham I heated up, and it cooked right into the surface. Using a plain sponge to clean it almost worked but now the finish is coming off.
I'm asking the company to replace it because I don't think I could be without it!

I was skeptical when I purchased this for my partner. Not being the one to ever eat breakfast and then complain that he was hungry by mid morning. When he opened this on Christmas day everything stopped and this was instantly plugged in. He loves this machine and has found a variety of ways to make delightful breakfast's with it. It works fast and cleans up well and easy. It is perfect for on the go before work. I would buy another 100 of these so I could have them around for more gifts.
