Customer Review: Can give up my trip to Starbucks

I am a hot chocolate fanatic. I go to coffee stores to buy hot chocolate not coffee. I have tried many other products or the old way of making it in a pot. This machine is excellent and easy - my 7 year old makes the hot chocolate for our family. Clean up is pretty easy. The valve makes it a little more difficult. But it really is easy. Love this item, now I don't have to drive to Starbucks and wait in line for my hot chocolate.Customer Review: Cannot use, leaks all over the table right out of the box

Thought I got a good deal on this, now I see why. I opened the box, filled it up, turned it on, ran it until it autmatically shut off. When I came back to check it out, it was hot, but almost half or it was on the table. I found out it leaks out through the shaft in the pitcher. I took the mixer blade and shaft apart and there's not much there to keep it from leaking, just a metal shaft running through two rubber washers, so when the blade turns, the liquid just goes right past it. I put it back together and tightened it as much as I could and it slowed the leak considerably, but in the time of one run, it still leaks out enough to soak two full size paper towels.
Another reviewer said the black paint peeled off of the blade and left a silver metal blade, but my blade is made of flexible black plastic. Also, it has only one power button on the right side, so I don't know if I have a newer one or older one, although it matches the photos on the focuselectrics.com site.

This thing is really amazing and comes with a lot of recipes :-) It does not take a lot of counter space like other bigger latte machines! The only down size is that the liquid (milk) sticks to one side of the metal bottom which makes cleaning it a bit harder and consumes more time. Other than that I love my morning Latte since I am not at all a regular coffee person :-)Customer Review: Cheaply Made Item

I was excited when I got this product, but upon opening the box and using it for the first time I became highly disappointed. It is evident the cheapest materials were used in making this item. The buttons don't work well, you often have to push them hard to get them to work. In addition, the extremely short cord means your placement options are limited. Also, the poor design of the cannister prevents you from washing it well, for fear of getting the electrical component directly on the bottom wet. If these design flaws were not enough, the function of the machine also has serious flaws. The operation is extremely loud and while it mixes the drink well, it takes a long time to finish, and the drink is NOT hot when finished, it is hardly even warm. If you like to drink lukewarm cocoa or coffee you might like this glorified mixer, but otherwise stay away!!!Customer Review: Coco-Latte Hot Drink Maker

Our family has loved this product. It was wonderful this winter to make the hot chocolate in the drink maker and then play in the snow with my kids and not have to wait for it to be made after we came inside. It is a little hard to clean though but for us totally worth it.
