I bought this for my mother and she can't say enough about how happy she is with it. Great for the winter months, makes hot cocoa, hot buttered rum, lattes.. any hot whipped drink you can imagine in minutes and at just the right temperature. No more scorched pans to clean,,, no "skin" from making the milk to hot. Recommend using with a box DROST cocoa.Customer Review: A Great Little Cocoa Maker!!!!!

I had a real problem with some of the reviews, However I purchased the Cocoa-Latte maker anyway. I'm really glad i did. I don't know why these people are giving it such bad reviews. I think it works great! It really heats up the cocoa good. It was very hot. I had to wait a little while for it to cool down. I've had no problems with it so far. It cleans up really easy also. The two pieces do come apart. The spout is also removable. The way these people talked really made me weary of purchasing it. It's also backed by a 1 year warranty against defects. I guess you can't please everyone!!!!!So what if you can't put it in a dishwasher. People have become so spoiled it isn't funny.Customer Review: A+ Rating

I bought this for 12.00 to tide me over till I get new disks for the cocomotion. Seems to do a good job but it is noisy at times. So far the hot chocolate it nice and hot. I have not had a hard time cleaning it but I do it right away. Would give it I higher score but it doesn't froth as much as the cocomotion.Customer Review: Almost Perfect

I as given this as a gift for xmas and use it everyday. I personally like the temperature of the drink as it is hot enought to require gentle blowing, but not so hot that you scald your tongue. I use it for cocoa, chai tea, and warm drinks. Like others said, it is supposed to hold 4 cups, but if you go above three it will spill over the top when it starts to foam. I tend to do 2 cups at a time, so this is not a huge issue for me. I like that it stays hot as long as it is plugged in so I can make one batch of tea and have some in the morning and then later in the day. I find that it is plenty frothy as well. I do agree with others that cleaning is an issue. With mine, the tea and cocoa tend to leave a residue on the bottom which is hard to clean since you can't submerge it. Not the best design in regard to that. It is loud, but I put my ingrediants in and then go and take a shower so I don't really hear it. You can do coffee, teac, cocoa, warm cider, hot toddy's etc in this little pot. Overall, I like having it and it for the price is a nice little appliance to have if you like hot drinks.
