The build quality is horrible, it is cheap plastic that can easily break open. The cutting well is not deep enough to cut most clam shell packaging. I highly recommend you look elsewhere and do not spend your money on this.
It does work on getting the plastic on CDs and DVDs off, so if that is your reason for buying this, then go ahead.
If I get time I will add a video review to demonstrate what I writing about.

As someone else also noted here, this is nothing but a razor blade in a plastic housing. After I received it, I immediately emailed the seller and requested to return it for a refund. This product is terrible. First off, it is packaged in the exact packaging it CLAIMS to open!! You're going to OVERPAY, basically, for a razor blade that you can buy for under a dollar at any store. The only difference is, is that the razor blade will work.Customer Review: Does NOT work!!

This product was completely useless! I don't understand how stuff like this is still on the market. It didn't do anything but splinter off pieces of the still sealed packages I tried to open with it. This was a present for my husband so I kept trying, hoping we would figure it out and get it to work but it just broke. It actually lasted about 1 hour out of its packaging. To add insult to injury, the freaking scissors it came with were broken right out of the package. We put in new batteries and it didn't even turn on.
