I own this Ariston Washer & a Ariston Dryer. I have been very happy with the performance & quality. Ariston does have a office in the USA & does offer warranty work & service when needed. I never needed any service but a friend with the same dryer did have the drum belt slip off and had no problem getting service. A previous person said Ariston had no service for the USA but this is not true. Also a company could not market a product in a country, get rights to sell, get Government approval, Import mass products and then just say "We have no legal obligation to honor warranties". The US government would not allow it & someone would have started a law suite if this was true. Ariston is made by the oldest appliance maker in Europe. In recent years GE & other US brands have been working with Ariston. To date Ariston is still the #1 brand in Europe! I would like to say that these machines are not for everyone. These machines are small & can not handle massive loads of laundry quickly. These machines are for couples or single people who do not need the X-Large capacity machines. These machines are very efficent and use very little water & require only two tablespoons of detergent per load! You can't over load or add a cup of detergent or you'll have problems. And you do need to wash the dryer lent screen & check for strings and lent in the washer as well or you will have minor problems. But it's just simple preventave maintenance & easy to do. These machines are smaller so they can be stacked or placed under a counter & they are very beautiful. I love my Ariston washer & dryer. I am a single parent & these handle our launrdy needs perfectly. If you want great quality Green Efficent machines with very beautiful modern design then you can trust Ariston!
