I absolutely love these bowls. They came with rubber bottoms so the bowls stay put on your counter when you're stirring food. They're thin and very lightweight, so you can move them easily when they're full of food (important to weak-armed cooks). They're sturdy and dishwasher washable, look great after tens of washes; they don't hold odors either (I've marinated garlic potatoes overnight in them, and you'd never know it after they've been dishwashed). The tall sides let you mix pancake batter or anything containing flour or powdery stuff without getting it all over your kitchen. They nest for compact, efficient storage in the cupboard. I intend to give them as Christmas gifts. Edit: After several months (years?) of use, the rubber bottom rings have started to deteriorate. Maybe I washed them in too high heat? In any case, I now have to store them with wax paper nested between them so they don't stick to each other and leave gray residue. Nevertheless, these are still my favorite cooking and baking bowls.
