These are so light that you'll wonder if they're actually made of iron. But they are remarkably sturdy. I bought two, and the craftsmanship is fantastic - I couldn't tell the two apart. For no more than the cost of buying a cheap, Made-in-China toilet paper stand at your local big box store, you could have a quality, hand made in the USA item far nicer in form and finish. Highly recommended! In fact, I'm going to buy another one.

Description of Wrought Iron Toilet Tissue Paper Stand Rack-Hand Made

Our toilet paper stand is made for us in the Lancaster County, PA. Amish Community. With classic style and functional design, this versatile piece blends into most decorating schemes. Our toilet paper holder is made of solid heat forged iron--not flimsy wire. This piece is finished in satin black and works well in any bath or powder room. We have also seen this used to hold a hand towel on top of the vanity and it would look nice with dried herbs or pairs of candles in just about any room. It is about 25 1/2" inches high with a sturdy three legged base. The feet are 9 1/2 inches toe-toe. This is heavy 3/8 inch iron stock with scrolled ends and hand forged feet. Such a simple design--even the kids will change the roll!!
