Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of American Weigh Signature Series Black AWS-100 Digital Pocket Scale, 100 by 0.01 GCustomer Review: After A Year of Use - A Wonderful Little Scale! Summary: 5 Stars
I've owned this little China-made scale for more than a year now. Though certainly not in the same league as my laboratory grade Ohaus digital and my student grade Ohaus digital scales, in at least one respect, this little guy outperforms these much more expensive scales. That respect is the tendency of the Ohaus scales weight reading(s) to creep. On the other hand, the AMW-100 reading is unwavering. It works as well today as it did on the day it arrived and I can comfortably recommend this both as a great scale and a great value.
Customer Review: American Weigh AMW-100 Digital pocket scale Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this mainly to weigh jewelry. It is perfect for that as it Very small and compact if you want to take it with you. Perfect calibration. I used the nickle method. For 15.00 you can't go wrong. It is MADE IN CHINA!
Customer Review: Awesome! Summary: 4 Stars
I paid 6$ in shipping and it arrived 2 days later! Shipped really fast for cheap. I was expecting a large package but it was small enough for the delivery lady to put it in my mailbox. I opened the box and started calibrating it but it was 100% calibrated out of the box! Awesome scale for the price and seems to be very accurate, thanks Amazon.
Customer Review: Best scale for the price Summary: 5 Stars
Love how it goes to .01
Auto-off is a nice feature
Different displays (oz, g, etc)
Fits in your pocket.
I use mine to weigh pinewood derby car parts. What will you use yours for?
Customer Review: Easy to use, weight a little off Summary: 4 Stars
Mine consistently weights things about four or five one hundreds of an inch too heavy. This is after calibrating it with a 100 gram weight. This is close enough for my purposes, but it has never weighed anything within one one hundredth of an inch. Other than that the unit seems easy enough to use.
Does anyone know why it has a compartment for two extra batteries (4 total) when it runs ok with 2 batteries?
