I chose this peel because it was metal (easy to clean) and more importantly that it was thin and I assumed it would be easier to slide under a pizza sitting on a pizza stone. I can't imagine trying to jiggle a thick wooden peel under a pizza in a hot oven. I am so glad I chose this peel; it can get under the pizza without having to reach in with your hands to lift an edge and help it onto the peel. I've been using it for two years now, and wouldn't trade it for any other.

Light and easy to handle, the aluminum pizza peel will transport your breads and pizzas to and from the oven. Long handle keeps hands safely away from the heat. Note: Due to aluminum's soft nature, product may arrive with some light, superficial markings, which does not affect performance.
