I was looking for this type of product and after reading many reveiws of other brands, i decided to buy ALLIGATOR because it has many good reveiews. Im really happy with this product, it really cut onions in small squares, i used it to slice cheese, ham, tomatoe (only green ones because they are not very soft otherwise it doens work), i even sliced potatoes and carrots, ofcourse, taking in consideration this item is plastic, so first I cut item into a slice and then i put it in the ALLIGATOR to complete the process. when something is haRd i dont force it, i just leave that piece apart. I take good care so it can last!
